Liverpool Anglican Cathedral 1972-73
Liverpool Anglican Cathedral with the Last House Standing in 1972

At the time I was doing a photographic course at Myrtle Street College and one of my projects was to photographing the cathedral. I wanted a shot of the front of the Cathedral but was disappointed at the time because of the house spoiling the view, but I took this photograph anyway, now years later it has great archive significance as being the Last House Standing, notice the smoke coming from the chimney, who ever lived there must have been quite stubborn about leaving, reminds me of the recent animated Pixar film UP.
