'My Liverpool' competition winner - Playing Outside

I have vivid memories of playing outside, with friends or by myself and mostly in bright sunshine, probably during a summer holiday. Traffic almost non-existent. I don't think i knew any one who owned a car until I was about 12. Mother's, the street over would shout the familiar "come in, your Tea's ready" Then back outside until the sun was just about to set, again with the cry of " Come in, it's bedtime". This is the view of my street from 'our garden' around 1968.
